What is included in my quarterly maintenance check?
Your quarterly maintenance check includes the following services:
- Bolt tightening
- Brake alignment
- Chain oiling
- Tire inflation
- Wipe down
- Software checks
- Wheels truing
Please note that these checks are performed at Rybit stores only and exclude parts replacement.
What's covered under warranty?
Under warranty, repairs are covered for any issues that render the bike inoperable or affect its smoothness of ride, provided that they are not self-inflicted or the result of vandalism.
What's not covered under warranty?
The warranty does not cover regular wear and tear, improper assembly or follow-up maintenance, consumable parts like tires, damage from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, or alterations to the frame or components.
What happens if I accidentally damage my e-bike?
Accidents can happen, so no need to worry. We will address these situations on a case-by-case basis. Simply reach out to us and let us know how we can assist you.
Depending on your plan, you are covered up to certain amount. Anything over this amount must be covered by the rider. Please note that you will never be asked to pay more than your deductible.
What is my deductible?
Your deductible depends on the plan you have.
This deductible is to be paid by the customer in case of theft, total loss, repair, or any other instance where the bike is not recoverable or salvageable.
What happens if my e-bike gets stolen?
If your e-bike is stolen, Rybit will assist you in processing the theft. Your level of responsibility will depend on your subscription plan, which includes a deductible amount that must be paid in the event of theft. Any additional costs beyond the included coverage will also be your responsibility. Please refer to your plan details for specific terms.
Remember to report the theft to the authorities and notify Rybit promptly to start the process.
Admin Fee
Rybit charges an admin fee for certain activities such as theft processing or rescheduling appointments for no-shows.
Can I pause my subscription if I do not plan to ride the bike?
With our Basic plan, you can pause your subscription for up to 1 month, and with our Plus plan, you have the flexibility to pause for up to 3 months.
Deposit
You are required to pay a deposit upon sign up, which is refundable based on satisfactory return of the Bike. This fee does not apply to corporate subscription riders.
