How do I sign up?
All you need to do is fill out our application form. Once we receive your application, we'll promptly send you all the necessary details to get started. From there, we'll work on preparing your e-bike, so its ready to ride the same day!
What is included in my plan?
Quarterly Maintenance Checks:

Repairs Coverage:
Receive coverage for repairs up to $100, providing financial protection against unexpected issues.
Lower Deductible:
Benefit from a reduced deductible of $300 compared to the Basic plan,

No Cancellation Fee:

Pause your subscription for up to three months, if you don't plan on riding for a while.

Can I test out the different e-bike options before starting a subscription?
Yes, we always recommend visiting your nearest Rybit-Vanmoof hub to test out all available e-bike options before starting a subscription. This allows you to experience firsthand the different models and ensure you find the perfect fit for your needs and preferences.

How long is the subscription commitment?
You have the flexibility to opt for either a 1-month or 12-month minimum commitment. If you choose the 12-month option, after the initial year, the subscription transitions to a month-to-month arrangement, providing added convenience and flexibility.
If I choose the annual plan, what happens after 12 months?
Following this initial period, you have the flexibility to cancel your subscription on a monthly basis with no penalty, or opt to upgrade to a new model.
If I choose the annual plan, can I pay the full price upfront?
Certainly! Opting for the annual plan grants you the opportunity to pay the full price upfront. This option not only provides the same benefits as the monthly subscription but also saves you money in the long run.
When will I get my e-bike?
Once you've signed up, your e-bike will be ready for pick-up at your local Rybit hub immediately.
We encourage riders to pick up their bike within 7 days of placing the order to ensure prompt service and availability.
Can you ship the e-bike directly to me?
Not yet. We will soon be offering delivery to your home as an option. Stay tuned for updates on when this service will be available.
(Rybit offers delivery services to select workplaces, subject to pre-approval and coordination for your account. Currently, we have been discussing this option with Google, which has a substantial subscriber base and on-site facilities conducive to such operations. If you are interested in workplace delivery, please reach out to us to discuss the possibility further.)
What locations are available, and will employees at campuses outside of these areas be able to subscribe?
We are currently operational in New York, San Francisco, Seattle and have one partner workshop in Los Angeles.
If you work at a different campus, you may still be eligible to subscribe. We are currently developing a subscription option tailored for employees at all other campuses within our service area. This subscription will provide you with access to the same benefits and features as those enjoyed by employees at the designated campuses. Stay tuned for further updates on this development.
What happens if my employer and I separate?
All corporate subscriptions come with Cover+, which includes several benefits. One such benefit is that we extend the option to cancel your contract if you part ways with your employer. However, should you wish to continue your subscription independently, you're welcome to do so. Please refer to the T&C's for further details.
What if I plan to not ride the e-bike for an extended period of time?
If you anticipate not riding the e-bike for an extended period, we understand, and exceptions can be made for premature cancellations under legitimate circumstances, such as moving out of the service area. However, please note that taking the bike with you when moving away is not permitted.
Will my e-bike be new or used?
The availability of new or used e-bikes depends on current stock levels. However, please rest assured that regardless of whether the e-bike is new or used, it will be fully refurbished and in perfect riding condition when you receive it.
What if I want to swap out my e-bike for another model?
Swapping your e-bike for another model depends on stock availability and the specific circumstances of your case. If you are unsatisfied with your current model, we can explore the possibility of offering you a different one. Depending on your plan, there may be associated fees.
Moreover, if a repair is deemed unfeasible, we can facilitate the exchange of your bike for a replacement.
What happens if my e-bike gets stolen?
In the case of theft, you will be responsible for paying the full deductible amount according to your chosen plan, plus an admin fee, to facilitate the process of finding you a suitable replacement.
What happens if I move outside of the current service area?
If you plan to move outside of our current service area, we kindly request that you return the bike to the nearest hub. Regrettably, we are unable to offer support beyond our designated service boundaries. Failure to return the bike and departing with it may result in incurring a fine.

Can I upgrade my bike to a newer model?
Upon completing your minimum contract duration, you can return your current bike and start a new subscription term with the upgraded model of your choice.
Can I buy out my e-bike?
Yes, as a plus rider, you have the option to purchase your e-bike after 18 months for a flat fee.
What is the accessory discount?
As a plus rider, you are eligible for a 20% discount on VanMoof bike accessories.
