What is a Rybit Tag?
The Rybit Tag is installed in your e-bike to keep track of the number of times you've visited your worksite. It is the size of a US quarter, with a battery life of over 2 years, and is water-, shock-, and tamperproof.
Why do I need the Rybit Tag?
The Rybit Tag allows you to track your bike using the Rybit x VanMoof app. The tracking is an improvement to the VanMoof bikes own tracking feature. Download the Rybit x VanMoof app on IOS or Android to connect.
How does the Rybit tag work?
Open the Rybit-VM app within the Bluetooth range of the bike, update your bike's location and we'll automatically refund you your daily reimbursement at the end of your billing cycle.
How do I get a Rybit Tag installed on my bike?

Will Rybit or my employer be tracking my location? Is it compliant with privacy acts?
The Rybit tag is fully compliant with national and international privacy standards (such as GDPR & CCCPA). It provides only approximate, non-live location data. We'll simply note the number of times you've visited the campus for reimbursement purposes.
Your employer will not have access to any location information outside of the number of times your bike has entered the vicinity of your worksite.
