When you sign up for our subscription program, you pay a fixed monthly fee. In return, you not only get access to a high-quality bike but also benefit from ongoing maintenance services to keep your ride in top condition. It's a hassle-free way to enjoy cycling without worrying about the nitty-gritty details. Plus, with a minimum contract duration of 12 months, you have the freedom to ride confidently knowing your bike and its upkeep are taken care of.

Can I test out the different e-bike options before starting a subscription?
Yes, we always recommend visiting your nearest Rybit-Vanmoof hub to test out all available e-bike options before starting a subscription. This allows you to experience firsthand the different models and ensure you find the perfect fit for your needs and preferences.

Will my e-bike be new or used?
The availability of new or used e-bikes depends on current stock levels. However, please rest assured that regardless of whether the e-bike is new or used, it will be fully refurbished and in perfect riding condition when you receive it.
How long is the subscription commitment?
You have the flexibility to opt for either a 1-month or 12-month minimum commitment. If you choose the 12-month option, after the initial year, the subscription transitions to a month-to-month arrangement, providing added convenience and flexibility.
Following this initial period, you have the flexibility to cancel your subscription on a monthly basis with no penalty, or opt to upgrade to a new model.
What happens if I move outside of the current service area?
If you plan to move outside of our current service area, we kindly request that you return the bike to the nearest hub. Regrettably, we are unable to offer support beyond our designated service boundaries. Failure to return the bike and departing with it may result in incurring a fine.

What if I plan to not ride the e-bike for an extended period of time?
With our Basic plan, you can pause your subscription for up to 1 month, and with our Plus plan, you have the flexibility to pause for up to 3 months.
What if I want to swap out my e-bike for another model?
Swapping your e-bike for another model depends on stock availability and the specific circumstances of your case. If you are unsatisfied with your current model, we can explore the possibility of offering you a different one. Depending on your plan, there may be associated fees.
Moreover, if a repair is deemed unfeasible, we can facilitate the exchange of your bike for a replacement.
Can I upgrade my bike to a newer model?
Upon completing your minimum contract duration, you can return your current bike and start a new subscription term with the upgraded model of your choice.Can I buy out my e-bike?
Yes, as a plus rider, you have the option to purchase your e-bike after 18 months.
Do I need a special license or permit to ride an e-bike?
The need for a special license or permit to ride an e-bike varies depending on the location and local legislation. In most cases, however, no special license or permit is required. Please verify with your program representative for specific requirements related to your location and circumstances.

Are there any additional fees associated with my subscription?

Deposit:
Upon sign-up, you are required to pay a refundable deposit. This deposit is refundable upon the satisfactory return of the bike and does not apply to corporate subscription riders.
Deductible:
Your deductible varies depending on your plan
This deductible is applicable in cases such as theft, total loss, repairs, or any other instance where the bike is not recoverable or salvageable.
Admin Fee:
Rybit charges an admin fee for specific activities, including theft processing or rescheduling appointments for no-shows. The admin fee varies based on your plan.
Can I pause my subscription if I do not plan to ride the bike for a while?
With our Basic plan, you can pause your subscription for up to 1 month, and with our Plus plan, you have the flexibility to pause for up to 3 months.
My bike has arrived! How do I set it up?
If you've received a notification that your bike is ready for pickup, it will be fully assembled and ready for you to ride off into the sunset.
What is the accessory discount?
Depending on your plan, you are eligible for a discount on VanMoof bike accessories.
Basic plan: 5% discount

Plus plan: 20% discount
